What Are Side Channel Blowers?

How Do They Work:
Side Channel Blowers contain a rotating impeller with several blades which is run on an electric motor. The side channel comprises of the impeller mounted on the motor shaft along with the housing.
This blower also contains an inlet and an outlet port. Air or gas that flows into the blower through the inlet port, comes in contact with the impeller, where it is met with high centrifugal force and pressure before being expelled from the outlet. Every rotation within the inlet and the outlet leads to addition of kinetic energy which in turn converts into high pressure on the side channel.
